rotax 2-stroke engine servicing pricing guide

Prices below  are for routine 10hr, 50hr, 100hr, 150hr, 200hr or 250hr engine service, routine 10hr or  100hr  gearbox service, and shock load testing (required after prop strike or sudden engine stoppage).  All work includes a detailed service report of the work carried out.  Please note that gearbox servicing is priced separately.

Due to variations in aircraft systems it is not economical to carry out some items that appear on Rotax schedules.

Prices are for work only, for on site jobs - add 95p per mile travelled (including VAT and labour).

For additional work not part of routine servicing, our labour rate is £39 per hour plus VAT(minimum labour price of ½ hour applies).  

A 503 on a Quantum that has done 400 hours should have had:

10 hour engine service and 10 hour gearbox service after the first 10 hours

50 hour engine service at 50 hours TT

100 hour engine service and 100 hour gearbox service at 100 hours TT

150 hour engine service at 150 hours TT

100 hour engine service and 100 hour gearbox service at 200 hours TT

250 hour engine service at 250 hours TT

300 hour engine overhaul and 100 hour gearbox service and replace all rubber parts at 300 hours TT or 5 years old

50 hour engine service at 350 hours TT

100 hour engine service and 100 hour gearbox service at 400 hours TT
