Cors-Air Engine Servicing

 

Work can be carried out on site or at our fully equipped workshop – the choice is yours.

 

All servicing work is completed along with a detailed service report of the work carried out.

 

Please note that maintenance specifications may vary from engine to engine or aircraft to aircraft and the items listed in our service descriptions are only a general guide.  Specifications may change without notice.   

 

A shock load test (SLT) is not normally required after a propeller strike as the belt acts as an overload device and should prevent engine damage.

 

Our labour rate is £39 per hour (plus VAT) for services not specified in the price lists detailed here (minimum labour charge of ½ hour applies).

 

 

On Site Service

For on site service our mileage rate is 95p per mile travelled (including VAT and labour).   

 

 

M21Y, M25Y or M19Y 100 Hour engine service on the bench = £150.00 plus parts

 

 

100 Hour Cors-Air Engine Service Includes:

Decoke pistons, cylinders and cylinder heads      

Inspect piston rings and check gap
Check piston/cylinder clearance                           

Lubricate exhaust ball joints
Big end/small end clearance check                      

Check starter condition
Inspect, clean and re-gap plugs
                          

Re-torque head and exhaust fasteners
Clean plug caps                                                    

Replace exhaust springs (except on bench)
Check for short circuit tracking                             

Strip and clean carb
Check and adjust carb                                         

Check/adjust belt tension
Visual inspection of gudgeon pins                        

Visual inspection of small end bearings
